Programming Overview

RYPT is designed to help you create and schedule all types of sessions from gym-based to conditioning, pitch-based to skills.

The programming tools include:

  • Exercises / a database of exercises to prescribe and monitor
  • Workouts / individual sessions you create and schedule
  • Programs / multi-week blocks of training made up of multiple workouts and resources
  • Resources / a library of resources to support your clients/athletes

Exercises

The exercises feature is a database where you manage your exercises which you will then use to create workouts with the workout builder, and track data for each individual user.

The exercise database contains roughly 900 exercises that are provided by RYPT, but it is completely customizable, so you have the flexibility to create new exercises if there is something specific that you would like to provide to your clients/athletes and track over time, or you can customize any existing exercises to:

  1. Add your own branded technique videos
  2. Set up default metrics
  3. Add custom progressions, regressions, and alternates

Workouts

The Workouts feature is where you create workout templates to share with your clients and athletes, where you manage your templates, and where you manage the workouts you have scheduled. It’s made up of three elements:

  1. List of workout templates / Where you manage your workout templates, edit/copy/send existing workouts and create new workouts.
  2. Workout builder / Where you build your workouts made up of exercises from your database and video content from your library. You define the metrics and values you’d like to prescribe and record from your clients and athletes.
  3. List of sent workouts / Where you can view the workouts you have scheduled for your clients and athletes, who you have sent them to, and for what date. You can monitor your client’s and athlete’s compliance, view workout data for workouts that have been completed, or cancel/edit workouts that have not yet been completed.

Programs

The Programs feature is where you create program templates to share with your clients and athletes, where you manage your templates, and where you manage the programs you have scheduled. It’s made up of three elements:

  1. List of program templates / Where you manage your program templates, edit/copy/send existing programs and create new programs.
  2. Program builder / Where you build your programs combining workouts and other content including video and PDF into an organised schedule that can be shared with your clients and athletes.
  3. List of sent programs / Where you can view the programs you have scheduled for your clients and athletes, who you have sent them to, and for what start date. You can cancel programs that have not yet been completed.
